SHEET 04 · EXECUTIVE ADVISORY COUNSEL · BY ENQUIRY ONLY

A specific human,
holding the whole picture.

Standing counsel to the person making consequential decisions while AI changes several of the systems around them at once.

Standing counsel for senior leaders navigating consequential decisions in high-change environments.

A-01                                                                            THE POSITION

D-01

THE ENGAGEMENT

You are already senior. You have already built. What you need is not more advice.

You need a specific human whose judgment you trust, who holds the whole picture of your situation, and who can be reached when a decision is about to land.

The moment usually looks like this: the board wants an AI answer by next quarter, the transformation programme has a plan for every function except the people running them, and everyone in the building assumes you already have this worked out. That is when the first conversation happens.

Not coaching. Not consulting. Counsel.

Detail D-01 · The Category

I hold context across the whole engagement: the strategic, the operational, the political, the personal. Twenty-five years of technology, leadership, and human systems in every conversation. This is a small practice by design. I take six to eight clients at this level at any given time.

D-02

THE COUNSEL

Your technical team can tell you what can be built, integrated, automated or deployed. A specialist can tell you what a particular model does. I am not competing with either of them, and I am not replacing the judgment of your CTO, your CFO, or you. The decisions stay yours.

I sit beside you and ask what the decision means for the business, what it does to the organisation and the humans inside it, and the question nobody on your payroll can ask: what it means for you. Your role, your career, the life you are actually trying to build. Every other advisor takes either the person or the business. Counsel holds both, because in a decision this size they were never separate.

What you say here belongs to you, not to your board.

Detail D-02 · Direction of duty

A non-executive director's duty runs to the company; what you tell them, the board holds. A consultant reports to whoever commissioned the work. My duty runs to you. That is what makes the difficult territory reachable: the doubt about a key hire, the exit you have not said out loud, the fear that the role is changing faster than you are.

And because this is standing counsel, not a session you book when the pressure spikes, we are never starting from zero. By the time the hard decision arrives, I already know the board, the politics, the history, and you.

D-03

THE RECORD

I have spent over a decade advising individuals inside large organisations one to one, through restructures, promotions, and roles that changed shape under them. Since 2023, that work has been about one transition in particular: a director positioning for VP while AI reshaped her industry, leaders in recruitment, telecoms and marketing whose functions were being rebuilt around them. Where they fit, how to move, what to build so the change works for them instead of over them.

The pattern recognition comes from twenty-five years in technology and a seat at the executive table. The AI fluency comes from working inside frontier AI daily since 2023, not from reading about it.

FIT

THIS ENGAGEMENT IS FOR

Founders and senior leaders holding weight that cannot be delegated.

Executives making consequential AI decisions their existing advisors are not equipped for.

Leaders navigating a shift where the old identity no longer fits the new frame.

People who need one room where the unsayable can be said, and stays theirs.

People who want a specific human, not a service, held over time.

THIS ENGAGEMENT IS NOT

Executive coaching in the personal-development sense.

Advice booked only when the pressure spikes.

A 24-hour advisory desk or an always-on retainer.

A substitute for your CTO, CFO, or technical specialists, their judgment stays central.

A route into Trust Architecture or Ground Truth for a specific project - those are separate engagements.

BY ENQUIRY ONLY

Write to me and tell me what is in front of you.

This is not a bookable service. Every engagement begins with a conversation, and I take on the ones where I can genuinely be of use.

Tell me the situation - what has already been built, what is shifting, what the decision looks like - and we will find out together whether this is the right relationship.
